At Boise Dental Chair, our mission is to provide superior dentistry with the most memorable experience possible by serving our patients with unparalleled honesty, integrity and quality.
Always telling the truth during each visit, never exaggerate or mislead. Always making recommendations by order of priority so the patient can plan for future treatment needs.
Always doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. If we make a mistake, immediate steps will be taken to correct it.
Always using the best possible procedures, equipment, supplies and people. To be a partner in health to optimize your well-being and prevent disease.
Dentistry and the experience should not be intimidating or filled with anxiety for anyone. We want to help patients understand what we’re doing, and why, so you can make an informed decision. The Boise Dental Chair is dedicated to caring for you and your entire family’s oral health and well-being.
As a native Idahoan, born and raised in Emmett, I believe there is no better state in which to practice dentistry. My wife and I have lived in other parts of the U.S., and we both agree, Idaho is home. As a practicing dentist, I find it to be a great honor to help my neighbors improve their smiles and optimize their oral health. I love helping people in need and seeing their joyful reactions after they have completed treatment.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Arizona State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. I then attended dental school in Charleston at the Medical University of South Carolina, earning a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Following my formal training, I moved back home and completed a postgraduate program of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Idaho State University.
With this extensive training, steadfast in my commitment to dentistry, regardless of what an individual’s treatment needs may be, my primary focus will always be on patient care and comfort.
My wife and I have been married for twenty-one years, and we have two children and a chocolate lab named Branch. Outside of dentistry, we enjoy hiking, skiing and camping. I also love to golf in the spring and watch Boise State Football in the fall.
The advantages of having an in-house dental laboratory cannot be overstated. Our patients receive world-class restorations from Kelly Crank, a dental technician with 20 years of experience. She is highly trained in tooth morphology and able to create a restoration that is superior in form, function and aesthetics.
Kelly is integral to the design process of your dental restoration. We consult with her throughout your therapy, ensuring an exact fit and esthetic beauty. You will not have to wait or travel to a separate location when color matching to the intricacies of natural teeth. Unlike other offices, every tooth will have a custom shade taken without being charged a premium.
Our in-house laboratory will result in fewer visits and shorter appointment times. Most adjustments can be made quickly, even last minute, without waiting days or weeks for the repair. To ensure quality, we have incorporated
digital technology in designing your restoration and Kelly checks the fit under a microscope, giving you the best possible result.
At the Boise Dental Chair, we utilize the latest dental technology. Our team is committed to providing you with a pleasant, comfortable experience, and our dental technology helps us provide you with efficient and effective care.
Do you find it annoying when the dental chair is uncomfortable and the dentist moves you to ten different positions for the appointment? At the Boise Dental Chair, you are our focus and your comfort is paramount. Our chairs feature premium lounge leather, exceptional lumbar support and a double articulating headrest to find just the right position for you. The ergo motion of the backrest matches your spine and will prevent the stretching and compression effects when tilting. In addition, these chairs include next-level, fully integrated technical features for today’s digital dentistry allowing for optimal treatment.
Our digital X-rays offer several advantages over traditional X-rays. Digital radiography uses significantly less radiation than conventional radiography, which means that it is healthier for our patients. Digital X-rays also provide instant high-quality, expandable images that we use to evaluate your oral health and diagnose dental problems.
Our Kavo OP 3D Cone Beam (CBCT) scanner provides instant 3D images that Dr. Crank uses to diagnose and plan treatment. These 3D images are seamlessly integrated with other office technologies for improved efficiency, accuracy and more predictability. Complications can be avoided with a complete viewing of critical structures. Wisdom teeth extractions, root canals and implant surgeries are planned digitally before ever touching the patient. Our
in-house lab can create surgical guides and 3D printed models in addition to the amazing dental restorations we create in-office.
