The Boise Dental Chair is committed to providing safe, gentle, quality dental care. We understand that most people have anxiety when visiting the dentist. We understand everyone is different and recognize even family members have different needs. Our goal is for you to become comfortable when visiting our practice as we provide the best care possible.
What to Expect on Your First Visit
Your first visit at our office is very important in establishing your oral health baseline. We will begin by reviewing your medical and dental histories and discuss any concerns you have, as well as any symptoms that you may be experiencing. A complete oral examination includes an oral cancer screening, periodontal evaluation, an analysis of your occlusion (bite) and a thorough examination of your teeth, their supporting structures and of the oral anatomy. Any previous fillings, crowns, dentures, or other restorations you may have will also be assessed as we screen for signs of oral damage and tooth decay. Any needed diagnostic dental films will be taken at this time.
When your exam is complete, our team will discuss any findings and offer solutions on how to best manage your oral health needs.
